Our dear Lord Jehovah, we are before you this wonderful morning you have allowed to break for us. Amen. Father through Jesus we pray today that you will not depart from being with us and that you will continue to make us live for your purpose. Amen. We thank you daddy for answering our prayers again in Jesus name. Amen.

Like I mention yesterday, angels are not to be worshiped rather to be utilized, obeyed and recognized for their duties with and for us. Amen. The Apostle John the beloved who wrote from Patmos the revelations had series of encounters with angels and not that alone, he intended to worship them because of fears and some other factors. The angel that met with him rebuked him for his intention to leave God and worship angels.

“My name is John, and I am the one who heard and saw these things. Then after I had heard and seen all this, I knelt down and began to worship at the feet of the angel who had shown it to me. But the angel said, Don't do that! I am a servant, just like you. I am the same as a follower or a prophet or anyone else who obeys what is written in this book. God is the one you should worship.” Revelation 22:8-9 (CEV)

The apostle John here after identifying himself as he who receives the revelation acknowledged and recognized the angels that took him in the journey seeing all things given. He was trying to pay the angel a price of worship for the encounter with him just like many of us will do to the one who have helped us or added to our lives one way or the other. There is none to be worship for whatever reason or the other but God who has given that being the power and grace to do. Angels are messengers of God and not God.

Therefore brethren give respect to the angel in recognition of whatever he has done and worship God alone. Amen. Good morning and enjoy the new day guys in Jesus name. Amen.
