THE GRACE OF GIVING (People Stand For You)

Halleluyah!

We have father that take care of our wellbeing and sufficient for our living. He is Jehovah the self existence God who made all perfect and for His pleasure. Amen. He has given us another midweek which happens to be the last day of the month of August 2016. I pray that the Lord shall make out this day a marvellous and amazing miracle worthy of celebration for you in Jesus name. Amen.

Back in the Act of the Apostle after the ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ the testimony of Luke the Doctor mention the wonderful and serious quantitative growth the disciples. Among the convert was one wonderful woman who love to do good not because it is a necessity but because for her it is a ministry. Her good gesture and generosity towards everyone around her stood for her on the day she was without hope and life. The woman Tabitha enjoy the grace of giving even when she has nothing to give any longer not because she doesn’t have to give but because there is no life in her again.

“In the city of Joppa there was a follower of Jesus named Tabitha. Her Greek name, Dorcas, means "a deer." She was always doing good things for people and giving money to those in need. While Peter was in Lydda, Tabitha became sick and died. They washed her body and put it in an upstairs room. The followers in Joppa heard that Peter was in Lydda, which was not far away. So they sent two men, who begged him, "Hurry, please come quickly!" Peter got ready and went with them. When he arrived, they took him to the upstairs room. All the widows stood around him. They were crying and showing him the coats and other clothes that Tabitha had made during her time with them. Peter sent all the people out of the room. He knelt down and prayed. Then he turned to Tabitha's body and said, "Tabitha, stand up!" She opened her eyes. When she saw Peter, she sat up. He gave her his hand and helped her stand up. Then he called the believers and the widows into the room. He showed them Tabitha; she was alive!” Act 9:36-41 (ERV)

I wonder after reading this story about Tabitha and the testimony about her generous giving to the needy and the ministry. I saw passion and commitment towards what she was doing before her death and this prompted every to say even if everyone will die Tabitha does not deserve to die. Brethren can someone speak of your good and kind gesture or other way round? You need to secure your future in giving rightly and purposefully so that when you cannot stand for yourself others can do for you. I pray this day that God will keep and watch over your future in Jesus name. Amen. At the point of you very need God will raise people to stand for you and meet with your needs in Jesus name. Amen.

Brethren as you conclude this month of August 2016; I challenge you if you have not been giving to start to give so that you can enjoy more grace embedded in the anticipated month of September 2016. Look around you brethren and see the need of another man to be met and joyful giving as the Lord has bless you and see how swift God will turn people to stand for you. Your stress can be relief when others stand to pray for you because of your act of giving and generosity towards them. Life is better when you give to other people. The grace is unquantifiable. Good morning and enjoy the midweek to the fullest. Amen.
