The Lord has taken us through a very wonderful lesson this week to the extent that we will not blame ourselves or God for not making things right with us. We are expected by the Lord to bring before Him our plight in prayers and not in anxieties, complains and murmuring. He really want us to make a time to discuss matters with Him diligently and not without cautions. All these lessons are all we have read through the scriptures in the written stories and histories there in. Apostle Paul then gives us reason why the histories are documented in the bible for our reading.
“But with many of them God was not pleased; therefore, they were overthrown in the wilderness. Now these things became types of us, that we should not lust after evil things as they lusted. Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play. Neither let us commit fornication, as some of them committed and fell dead: in one day, twenty-three thousand. Neither let us tempt the Christ, as some of them also tempted and perished by the serpents. Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured and perished by the destroyer. Now all these things happened unto them as types, and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages are come.” 1 Corinthians 10:5-11 (JUB)
Brethren, it is a challenge for us to learn from all these issues and get ourselves free from the wrath of God. Every ungodly act are as a result of one reason or the other and primarily birth by complains and others. Do not allow the enemy to take advantage of you by infusing inside of reason to see God as not good enough to be your God. The Apostle James taught us a lesson that is applicable in keeping focus on God and refusing the act of the enemy. “So give yourselves to God. Stand against the devil, and he will run away from you.” James 4:7 (ERV)
Brethren you are challenge today and you have no reason to murmur against the Lord hence. You are now educated and I pray for you that God will help your weakness and strengthen you to be able to hold unto Him in Jesus name. Amen. Hope you are enjoying your weekend? May the Lord continue to keep us and always give us reason to stay focus on Him even without complain and murmuring. Make diligence your watchword and never cease to place your plight Him in prayer.
