What a wonderful God we are serving. He has given a standard on how we should live aright in every spheres of life. Amen. We are by the grace of God going to observe and concentrate on the plan of God for our longevity here on earth. "Honour to Parent".
This is a command from God among every other that is attached to a promise. The promise of living long. Which I call the secret of living long. Amen. I pray that the promises of God concerning you shsll be fulfill in Jesus name. Amen.
"Regard (treat with honor, due obedience, and courtesy) your father and mother, that your days may be long in the land the Lord your God gives you." Exodus 20:12 ( AMP)
It shouldn't be a challenge for us as children to honour our parents. It should be a pride and a thing of joy for us to give due and well deserved respect to our parents. They brought us to this earth and not we ourselves. God would have just created trillions of men and women on earth but He chose to created a man and a woman. With these two every others will come by the virtue of the blessing of multiplication.
Your parent may be wicked and extra discipline, it is all working for your good and better future. God has made them like that for you. The two parents would have decided to abort you in your early days while in the womb, but the two agreed to have you and with the little/much they have gotten the decides to train you.
I sat to see reason God decided this and could not phantom it at all but believe God so much that irrespective of their irresponsibilities, they deserve honour and respect. They could decide even to be wicked and murder us at birth but they left us alive and nurtured us till now. Brethren our parents deserve our honour and respect if we will want to live long to fulfil destiny.
The grace of God to be able to honour our parent, I pray for the endowment in Jesus name. Amen. You will not die young in Jesus name. Amen.
It's a new day starting up the new week, enjoy all good embedded in it in Jesus name. Amen.
Good morning and happy new week.
