Sometimes you always see yourself as exceptional and because of that you make all around you see that in you at all cost. A time will come when that same people will ask what you are up to by imposing yourself us? These people will by then see your pride and will knock that pride off you. You know what that means?
Let learn from the Proverb of Solomon the wise king and richest king in the Bible history.
1. The Lord detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him.
2. When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom.
3. The integrity of the upright guides them, but the unfaithful are destroyed by their duplicity. Proverbs 11:1-3 (NIV)
Solomon from his wisdom and relationship with kings and personality around the world in his days has made this discovery. He said pride will lead man to shame. I believe so much that it won't be in the closest rather in the public.
Shame is said to a painful emotion caused by consciousness of guilt, shortcoming or impropriety. The humble will rather not have this but will always express wisdom which is the ability to discern inner qualities and relationships (Insight).
In our daily live we need the ability to be able to discern what is worth doing and associating with. This is to save guard our life from guilt and any painful emotion.
Friend I pray that God will give you the grace for humility so that you will not fall victim of disgrace in your endeavors in Jesus name. Stay blessed and good morning. Amen.
